The project
Esrumhusene is ten newly built holiday homes, gathered in a small, curated enclave in Tikøb. The houses are drawn for the buyer who wants the calm of holiday life without giving up everyday comfort — bright rooms with full-height glass, HTH kitchens, Siemens appliances, underfloor heating and white-oiled floors that take both sandy feet and a long winter in their stride. The ten plots are laid out across a naturally undulating site, where many of the area's old trees have been preserved to give the project soul from day one. Beech hedges grow up between the plots, and a soft gravel road winds through the enclave. Together it creates the feeling of a small, grown-up holiday quarter — calm to come home to, easy to maintain, whether you use the house every weekend or share it with the wider family.
